So a lot of people are complaining that they can't get their prisons to go more then the 3x speed. The reason this is is actually quite simple. It means that your CPU just can't handle the simulation of your prison on the speed you ask it to handle it. Even if you still have processing power left, this can still be the case. Prison Architect is build to only use 2 CPU cores, so if you have a quadcore processor, you have 2 processors that don't do anything for prison architect.

So basically, it ain't the mod who is at fault, it is the combination of the size of your prison, the power of your processors and the way Prison Architect uses those processors. Keep that in mind when it seems that the mod is not working
