Improved Combine NPCs
Hunter Chopper AI (or Gunship)
The hunter chopper does not change position in Gmod. It only hovers in area where it spawned. Can you please make an improvment to it so it can follow the player or patrol. Becouse its really boring to see hunters or gunships hover in one spots and stay, There like air turrets.

What map are you using? Some maps have aerial nodes which allow these vehicles to move properly.

Mostly GM_Bigcity, The NPC's fully understand the city but any troop thats not on the ground is a hovering sentry.
I suggest trying again on another map that's confirmed to be fully noded. The default maps should work, but if not, try one on the workshop that lists that it's fully noded in the specs.
In gm_construct, I noticed the NPC nodes, if that is what you call them, are extremely advanced. For example, Combine Gunships and Hunter-Choppers will fly throughout the map, regardless of any present targets. However, multiple may occasionally cluster in one spot. Striders will also move around the map toward the enemy when the target is not in sight.

tl;dr
gm_construct is the solution.

That's what I was thinking, but thanks for confirming it for the peeps. I just wish more maps were as well noded as the default ones. The nodes are definitely what make construct better for NPC fights, and I recommend using it to test mods to other people.
