Both of these actions are controlled by Scripts on specific parts of HL2 maps if i recall correctly, so unless he wanted to rewrite the entire NPC's AI, i don't think these can happen.

Rappel has been done, just in a crappy way. I think dropship might have been done, not completely sure.

Rappel has been done in a way that the soldiers are in thier "standby mode" during rappels. Map scripts would automatically make them exit this standby, and rappel themselves down, but since no scripts exist on the maps Gmod uses by default, we have to make them start manually.

Only instance of working dropships i can think of is the Parakeet Pill Pack, but those aren't really NPCs. Maybe there's some command to make the actual NPCs deploy, but i'm not sure

heres my suggestion: Dropship AI, Combine Elite more Advantage than Soldier. (Optional) Cop can change weapon too another one like stunstick if have anything besides stunstick.
