AI don't purchase helicopters?
I've noticed that the AI (OPFOR/BLUFOR) don't ever seem to purchase and use helicopters?

Only once have I seen an AI helicopter in the scenario in several dozen hours of playing it - and that was an AAF chopper (I think it was a transport chopper that spawned from the airbase on Altis and flew south - presumably to take back a base I'd just taken)?

Is this intentional or a bug?

It could be cool if OPFOR/BLUEFOR would engage in some arial combat as it's all ground-based at the moment (there's no point purchasing AA soldiers).

Seeing AI squads get dropped off at the base in conflict in transport choppers would be pretty epic :P or seeing attack choppers fly overhead and taking out enemy armor.

Hello, this has been on my to do list for a while, yes :) Can´t tell you exactly when or indeed if I get around to adding AI choppers, but I will try.

So this has been officially added but still no sign of AI aircraft at all. I absolutely love the mode, but I think it'd be really nice if the AI would use the full arsenal of what they can purchase similar to how they could in Arma 2's warfare mode.

I did see a YouTube video of a green AI independent faction flying a helicopter, but I did not see it at all during my time with the mode.

Maybe the BLUFOR & OPFOR AI's will only purchase aircraft when they are at an airport or near a helipad. If someone can confirm or deny that, it would be much appreciated.

Can deny. Was at Altis airfield with 50% map ownership and 5x CP income and they exclusivly spammed Slammers all over the airfield
