This looks a little like the born to run hat for scout.
Did you like... maybe use that model? The color is exactly the same.

Olive drab is a military color, and was usually used in helmets like these.

The born to run hat is a Vietnam era helmet the phrase "born to Run" is a parody to the movie full metal jacket wich takes place in Vietnam. And the cover art shows the m1 pot helmet (if im correct. Please correct me if im wrong) With the phrase "Born to Kill" on the helmet something soldiers used to do. They used to put prhases like "War is Hell" and also put pins on theyr'e flack jackets and cigarrets on there helmets playing cards. And even small medical equipment.
