Time Periods
What do the time periods do anyways?

Does it give infantry weapons from those years?

I tried 1944 with Pacific and US Marines have a M1941 Johnson rifle instead of M1 Garand. And, in 1945 they also had the same weapon.

So, do the periods mean anything

The period selection does actually work - it changes the available units in accordance with the selected period. However, it is not perfect - there are still anachronisms for certain factions in certain periods. But for what it is, it's actually pretty alright.

Try for example France 1940 compared to 1944 - you will find a lot of differences.

I do see the difference in German weapons from 1940 to 44. Like Panzer IIs in 1940 to Panthers in 1944 and 1945. I also tried for France. I really do enjoy the time periods. It makes certain games and scenarios different. I enjoy it.
