Infantry Divisions - Basic ground infantry units with standard weapons. They can use various weapons that are more light and and unarmored operatables.

Tank Divisions - Ground forces that can operate the more heavier units such as tanks, but not the ones that are more complex to hand;e. They can also operate various Infantry Division weapons such as mortars and medium howitzers.

Assault Divisions - These are the best of the best on the battlefield with their elite troops and choices of operatables including aircraft. They operate various ground units like the Heavy Rocket Launchers, most types of heavy tanks, a Heavy AT Gun, and a whole lot more.

Quite enjoying the concept. Is the plan to leave the 'default' everything enabled teams still in the mod, and these division teams are just for special setup games that only allow divisions?

After a few games, I'd recommend considering more more specialization and unique equipment to each of the 3 divisions. Every division would have a full range of cost units, but specialize in different areas. For example, give armoured divisions the MG cars so they can participate from the start of a match with cheap units that are still thematic, and give them the heaviest and most elite tanks for the late game.

Company of Heroes did a good balance between infantry and storm divisions. Infantry was a strong frontline with the best artillery behind it to advance slowly. Storm was specialized elite infantry and a lot of fast deployment options (flamethrowers, snipers, elite squads, highly mobile small artillery, paratroopers).

There's a lot of potential here for team games, definitely enjoying this addition. I'd be interested in hearing how this mode is working for others so far.

It's a great concept! Though, I think heavy AT should go to infantry division instead of storm division, because the infantry division needs a bit more focus on defense and counter-push to make it more balanced?

You may play as FULL army and you may play as division.

I think aircraft resupply trucks are missing from the divisions. I tried the "full" armies, they have them, but doesn't seem like any of these special divisions have them. Otherwise, I really like the idea/concept of these division types, hope you come up with some more variants!
