Okay, I'm going to be totally honest here. I don't think this should have a taunt kill, and here's why. EVERY time a workshop submission is made, people suggest a taunt kill. Maybe it could have some sort of unique taunt, like Engineer blowing a wisp of smoke off the gun, but honestly, I just don't think everything needs a taunt kill.

If they choose to have a taunt , have the engi do something different

Just as an idea perhaps making the Engie flip the pistol on his finger before rapid firing the 6 shots in a straight line. (Same range as the Heavy taunt). His other hand palming the hammer back and forth with each shot.
Each shot deals 80 damage so it can technically still kill an over-healed heavy if all 6 shots hit.

The shots fire over a space of 1.5 - 2 seconds. And the taunt can be aimed (Just like the Heavy Taunt).

Have you seen the default pistol taunt for the engineer?

I was thinking with visible smoke and minus the evil laughter.

The taunt kill would be simmilar to the heavy's showdown taunt.
