With each monster representing each of Simon's negative urges, and desires. Take the Suicider as an example, it is symbolic of Simon's will to commit suicide. The list goes on, and I can further explain the concept of the game, but I'd simply spoil it.

The monsters in Cry of Fear are all part of the protagonist's (Simon) book, he writes this book as a form of therapy but, you are the Simon he interprets himself as before the "Black Day" occured, the "Black Day" being when a car wrecked into him and left him unable to use his legs. All of the montsers you encounter in cry of fear and in this mod are all interpretations of things Simon had in his mind, a few examples being the people around him, and his disabled helplessness. That is a short description of the monsters in Cry of Fear that are also in this great mod created by DrVrej.
