I've just downlaoded the mod and as soon as I've created my game it crashes and gives me this message "Invalid neural Function:./src/SIM_NeuralEffect.cpp 128"

Just downloaded the mod, have all the DLCs and only subscribed to what is on your list of compatible mods. Game crashes on next turn. I reinstalled everything again, crashed, then disabled all of gikgik's mods and renabled them one by one and now it doesn't crash. Weird. Anyway if anyone has similar issues, there was something weird with the installation of democratic decay where disabling, restarting the game, and reenabling fixed the crash for me.

See the post above you. I haven't updated this in a while so I didn't break it, the cases where people claim there's nothing installed they usually just missed something or accidentally disabled a DLC, etc. And the order you enable mods/dlc in matters. The only other thing I can think of to try would be enabling randomized start, although it'd take too long to explain why this might help. Good luck.

Oh wait, another thing you could try is replacing it with the dropbox version. There's a very very small chance that they are different versions, but I highly doubt it. I posted links and instructions in the comments section.

But unfotrunately, it refuses to work with any other mods, even from your "Reccomended" and "Compatible" list.

Glad you enjoy it. Unfortunately its a lot of work to maintain a list of compatible mods and that list is a few months outdated. Since then, there has been a patch to democracy 3, and the authors of the other mods have probably updated their mods since that list was made. One or a combination of these things likely broke compatibility for those mods, so if you want to find compatible mods you'll have to check them yourself, sorry.

it says to me "failed to find freeparentingclasses", but i have all DLC enabled
and only compatible mods enabled

It fails to find drone strike act even when used independently, I have all 4 dlcs
