I think with a few modifications to the skin, this could become similar to the Rescue Ranger by continuing with the ranged pick-up but also with the bolt destroying the sapper immediately instead of the bolt repairing the building.

I feel like it should be some sort of intelligent weapon, like, enemies become faintly outlined or spies are easier to detect or something, with some decent negitives

Stat ideas to go with physical design.
Plus: build a level 4 dispenser and teleporter by shooting the desired building. (At the cost of 400 metal to upgrade to level 4 from 3 that will be a part negative)
Con: vulnerability increase while holding the gun and for a fairly nasty time after cause I mean cmon you are holding your brain in front of the enemy.

Alright. Lets set one thing straight. Just because a word or phrase was used in something that happens to also be in FNAF DOES NOT mean it actually references the game. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO, WITH FIVE NIGHTS AT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FREDDY'S. And neither does this discussion. I am absolutely tired of that fandom shoving the fact that series exists into everyone's faces. WE GET IT. ITS A GAME. So, to quote the Spy, "Please. Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself."

The "Frontal Lobe" in a brain is from Five Nights at Freddy's and it's not real, I guess.

I think it should have infinite ammo, -15% damage, and the ability to "heatseek" the other team, going along with the brain idea

Sadly heatseeking projectiles will probably never make it into the game. Too many possible exploits, y'know?

Here's an idea. It deals less damage, but headshots deal minicrits that give you metal. Gotta get that brain juice.
