if you watch the decapitation taunt (slowly) while the axe is equipped, the axe somehow gets flipped 180° having the batteries hitting the target instead of the blade, so im thinking it could have an explosive or electrecuting (stun) effect with the taunt

Thats actually a very unique idea! Instead of an instant kill like all of the other taunts, it could have a Wombo Combo function!

maybe it can be where to demo grabs the demo head, rips it out, puts it into the air and smashes it back in.

i would love demo just, putting the axe in the ground, and he gets surrounded by electricity,,, Just like the pyro´s "Armageddon" taunt
