Maybe some sort of make-shift grenade/stickybomb launcher, in the same style as the Beggars Bazooka.

grenade launcher: something reminiscent of the "china lake" grenade launcher

secondary(shield): possibiliy a shield made of scrape metal with chains wrapped around it with a spike in the middle.

secondary(sticky): makshift from pipes wood grips and a grenade launcher drum magazine held together with ductape and screws.

melee: large machete or a large meat cleaver

I like this, but what about a hammer made of like screws and a robot arm, the end being a robot fist. So you're punching them in the face with a robot fist. POW!

Here is an idea, a sheild that on sheild bash, bleed for 5 secs, but breaks when taking critical hit, ammo boxes and spawn lockers give you a new sheild (basicly, the razorback that makes people bleed)
