One of the worst maps on the Workshop
This map has no effort put into it. ALL you did was load up Dust 2 in the editor and change the skybox, meaning that this map was properly made in less then five minutes.

There are map makers on the Workshop who pour weeks of work into a new and an orgainal map, this guy changes the skybox and gets a 5 star rating and more then one million downloads, for five minutes of work. Five freaking minutes.

He didn't even make the night time skybox that he used either.

The worst part about this is the fact that it gets so much surport. I've meet people who have tried to convince me that this is somehow the 'best map for CS:GO' and there is even a Change.org page that requests Valve to add this into the game as an Op. map.

This map is basically just a reminder to all REAL map makers that if you pour time and effort into a REAL map, then it will only get about twenty downloads, but if you change the skybox in Dust 2 you get a million downloads.

Well, there is no reason to bash the guy for changing the map a little... It's not like he did anything wrong by taking Dust II and making it night time, he probably just thought it would be neat if one of the most popular CS maps could be played at night. I highly doubt he thought, "Man I'm gonna make a night time version of Dust II and it's going to get over a million downloads!"

I guess you are right about that. I am, however, still quite annoyed about the amount of hardcore fanboys this map, mainly the ones who try their hardest to argue that this is the best map on the workshop.

You have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea how hard it can be to get the lighting right on a night map, and if you actually loaded the map you'd notice that a lot of the lights are changed, and it's not as easy as you think. As a mapper myself, I can promise you it wasn't made in five minutes, and it's not as easy as just changing the skybox. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, so don't get butthurt and call it "one of the worst maps on the workshop".

And like Miriku said, the map creator just had a great idea and decided to upload it. I'm sure he didn't expect it to become as much of a hit as it is.
