Also, if the holy roman empire should exist, thier should be an augmented event in which, if the kaiser onnverts, he gives up his crown, claiming that he is not a true emperor. This destroys the holy roman empire, and turns it into the empire of germania

That may harder to do than your other suggestions XD

Would be pretty cool although. I'd make the edit that he only claims that his empire is not the roman empire, thereby removing it, not that he claims he's not an Emperor (his lands are large enough that he'd still totally go "I'm an Emperor, deal with it")

Unite christendom - It will be available in 0.4. I didnt think of adding it but ofcourse I will! Good point.
As far as HRE goes I havent added any code - but I'll look into it and see if I can come up with some cool flavored events and descisions to de-throne or irritate the HRE :)

Yes this is a valid suggestion. I liked your previous suggestions also. My only concern right now is to get the frames right for this mod. I can easy spend 10 hours thinking of a specific name or title - however right now I spend the time coding. But please keep the suggestions coming and/or debate with others to get the name right.

Cosmokrator (Universal Ruler) would suit the game better than Holy Emperor, you're declaring yourself the Vicar of Christ on Earth after all. As for the mercenary unit, I'd re-name it to the Imperial Crusaders or the Imperial Knights for that extra bit of religious flavour (Imperial Order is another good one).

I agree with Shadok that it is a bit too powerful for a mortal being. However - I love the inquisition idea. Im gonna brew something up on that. Thanks for the input mate.

While it's not likely to arise as an issue most of the time, maybe there should be a decision available for Orthodox (Normal) characters to reform the Ecumenical Patriarch after the destruction event. My suggestion for requirement would be to be to hold one of the pentarch seats (Rome, Antinoch, Constantinople, Alexandria or Jerusalem), but that's me.

Excommunication. While there are events that will fire from Vassals asking me to excommunicate individuals, I as the Holy Emperor, seem to lack the ability to selectively excommunicate as I deem fit. It would be nice to ban my political rivals and traitors of the emperor from the church.
