Yeah, once disguised you lose all cosmetics. What'd be cool is if the Card stayed but changed to have the spy wearing one of his disguise masks to look like an enemy (e.g Sniper).

It's not gonna change because it doesn't need to. When you disguise, all your cosmetics are hidden and it shows the cosmetics of who you're disguised as.

Hats disappear when you disguise anyway so it doesn't matter.

Hm, maybe he wonders if you disguise into another player that also has that tag. Is there not a problem with the Mercenary badge not turning into the correct class?
