How to fix screen resolution
To anyone reading this

I downloaded this mod today on my laptop, i accidentially set the screen to 1900, now the game menu is so big that i can't change the resolution to the mod

Any advice to how to fix the resolution?

Found the solution

Go to:

C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\Homeworld2Classic\Bin\Profiles\Profile1

open the file that says PLAYERCFG.LUA with notepad

then scroll down to where it says videooptions with screen resolution and change it there

it wont let me open with notepad because windows 8 sucks...

thats odd, notepad should be under accessories

Also, you should open with Notepad, unless you choose the wrong program to open that file with

well, windows 8 must have a version of Notepad somewhere, or it must be named something else, you guys have to look it up

Otherwise, you can't fix ur screen resolution like I did

In windows 8 the file discribed above is a .lua if that helps
Update:
When I clicked on the above file windows asked what it would like me to open file with I choose notepad and it opened the file so I could read it. Scroll down to the very bottom thats where the screen resolution is.
I changed it first number to 800 and then next section i changed that resolution to 600. I saved changes and restarted my computer. When opened the game up after the restart it worked.
Thanks for the file location. Hope this helps furture players
