With the latest updates in drivers that AMD has published doesn't work with homeworld's 2 old OpenGL's settings. To fix this we simply need to grab a new old file for it to work with. We aren't going to install drivers just grabbing a file from the old 14.4 ones.


Step to step instructions:

You will need AMD 14.4

Download it here Here[support.amd.com]

1. Download the AMD drivers 14.4
2. Install the files to the desktop BUT don't install the drivers
3. Once done navigate to \Packages\Drivers\Display\W86A_INF\
4. Hold shift and right click on the folder called B171094
5. Click on open command line
6. Enter exactly expand atioglxx.dl_ atioglxx.dll
7. Open the folder B171094 and find atioglxx.dll
8. Copy atioglxx.dll file and navigate to your homeworld 2 classic files
8.5 (My was here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\Homeworld2Classic)
9. PASTE atioglxx.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Homeworld\Homeworld2Classic\Bin\Release
10. Relaunch the game and your done.
