Same here. Unsubcribe, delete mod and reinstall the game, didn't help.

A new patch just went live, notes says it fixes the issue.

I have tried fresh installs. Sub and Resub. Complete deleting of steam workshop content. You name it.

It just gives me General Failure.

Same here!! The problem appears after que update 48. It's really strange! After 2 updates to fix the problem not solve!!

Same here. "General Failure" when trying to start game with this mod. Tried the revalidate/removemod files/redownload mod methods to no avail.

It Works now!

Confirm it works now. However my current save was partially bugged in that I couldn't issue any ship specific commands (such as lower speed). But once you pass the mission, it restores.

I've been trying to get the mod to start few hours today, here is what worked for me:

go to your \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Homeworld\HWLauncher
Launcher.exe right click start as admin
started first time hw2 remastered without mods
exit
launcher.exe with admin again ->mods->complex->mod starts up fine.
