Research Center levels?
This may seem a silly question, but how do you upgrade your research center so you can get Hyperspace etc. I've done all the research I could do otherwise but nothing seems to unlock any further research.

Have I missed something? Or just doing something wrong?

when you reach the necessary research points (see the icon on top/right, ex. "research 100/125") you can upgrade the research center, you have a msg, at the same time the research button flashes, when you open the research the same for the family (special subs, the last one on right), where you can upgrade de research center

Yeah, I see it now. Thanks. Went back and checked the save-game where I was having that issue and for some reason that last tab is just empty. Weird. Fine now though.

Hello.
Research are menu "RESERARCH \ FLEET
Excavation: Level 1/10 -10/10
Engine: Level 1/10-10/10
etc
Weapons, Hull, Shields, Production, Sensors...
Have description "prerequisites" on any module subsystem.
But this description\ improvement becomes visible only after the already built module subsystem.
Before that I did not even suspect that it could be improved.
Need fix?!

Shields Higarian
They only on interceptors, Pulsar Gunship and Defense Field Frigate?
or?!...
