This will not work Because Steam will not make so much work for 1 wep, only for a event so, come back if TF2 has a Wizard Event

They've made different grip-models before. I can't imagine it's much more difficult than making a new weapon or outfit.

Unless you mean like just Valve needing a reason. A 'Wizard Medic' set alone could be reason for an entire update (with an extra Medieval Mode map and some other fantasy items for other classes maybe?) and could be a lot of fun if Valve worked it right.
