Same here.

I was playing on SP mission, and used SITREP command...
I even try with basic save from arma menu.
Everytime no "Resume" option. (with both vanilla and modded arma...)

Found a temporary solution... kinda annoying.

1. Navigate to the saved games folder in "Documents"
2. Make a copy of "autosave.Arma3Save"
3. Rename the copy to "continue.Arma3Save"
4. Play and resume your saved games!

Where do I find its specific save?

...\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\<YOURUSERNAMEHERE>\Saved\steam\Dynamic%20Universal%20War%20System%20-%20Rebirth.Altis

That's where I find mine.

For what it's worth, I found that if iI play the version of DUWS-R that gets installed via steam workshop (PBO and savegames are in "Documents\Arma 3\Saved\steam"), when I "save and exit", it does create a "continue.arma3save" file -- but it won't recognize it when I try to resume. I am forced to back up the savegame, start a whole new scenario, and then rename the savegame (to save.arma3save), then use the LOAD command.

HOWEVER, if I copy the PBO file to "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Missions\", and run that copy of the scenario, it recognizes previous "continue.arma3save" files -- which are saved to "Documents\Arma 3\Saved\missions".

Really having a bad issue with this.

On the Australia map each time you try to load or autoreload a save the game crashes and says something along the lines of "Couldn't load /user/documents/continue.[savefile]"

Tried alt+tabbing after saving and making copies of the save file and putting them back into Documents for loading but it keeps crashing and getting rid of the saves in Documents

I suppose this is a problem with the way Steam workshop handles missions. I'd just copy it to your Arma 3/Missions folder, maybe create a folder inside to keep it separate.

I agree.

Easy way to find the mission file on your disk is to make a search for : "Dynamic*.pbo"
Then copy the .pbo file to the mission folder (most often) : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Missions

Then choose this new one when you want to play the scenario in Arma
(not the one in the steam list. You will have two duws-r. I think you can unsubscribe from steam too)
