But for some reason when I add a new guard type the game decides to crash, I could always change the Armed Deputies to carry the M4 Rifle I'm working on in place of the Shotgun though I suppose... I'll mess around a bit more and see what I can do or come up with.

I like these two ideas here. I have another idea for ya its a small simple one...I was thinking in a future update maybe have the hands of the guards the color black to make them look like they are wearing tach gloves. I don't know about you though if was handling a inmate i would sure be wearing gloves. :)
A lot of the suggestions I'll be testing over the next few days. Example being the staff having a weapon to defend themselves (tazer) would be - Do the staff have the ability to fight back when attacked? Or are only guards and inmates programmed to do so, things like that. c:
I'll post my results here for each suggestion when I'm done, thank you all for them.
And @mean4life78 = That is something I am hoping to do soon, the game will pick the sounds from a random grouping basically. So it won't tell the difference between male and female guard textures, hence I'll have to find and make some muffled radio voices which you can't tell the gender. xD
you could just have an imaginary dispatch that notifies you of stuff instead of the guards, and maybe you could contact the guy that made the staff with guns mod (i dont really know the real name of the mod, just search older than dinosaurs and it should show up somewhere) and ask how he got staff to use weapons

@Cinna = I plan to make more custom walls and such, and I do plan on making a topic to give people options on what to have in the game, but that will take a little while to get up and running, and also will require updating with every Alpha update.
Due to game limitations, the inmate uniform colouring is very fiddly at the moment and you can't choose the exact colour you want for each security group, hopefully this will change.
And as for the solitary thing I believe that is going to be a feature soon in the actual game, as on twitter the developer mentioned a funny bug he was having with implementing that feature.
