the mod doesnt work like it does in ds, that is, the world seems pre-populated with invasion ships, rather than coming in waves after the first season like they do in DS. It's still really good but makes more sense the way it is in DS.

Yes, some ships will land shortly after world creation but more will continue to come as the game goes on.
