M&T replaces the entire province folder + countries folder, and that's just what I can tell from the screenshots. I'm pretty sure M&T changes enough to make it virtually incompatible with any mod not made specifically to be compatible with them.
To make a Third Odyssey compatible to M&T, the team would need to redo the ENTIRE MOD changed to fit in, as well as tons of featured would have to be worked around with, such as the M&T development/govts/religion ect.
Now, I'm not part of the Third Odyssey team, but honestly, I don't think they (or anyone for that matter) have the patience to do one mod this big twice every patch, the second being based off entirely on someone else's mod, and I wouldn't blame them for that. It requires going way too far off the way.
As a modder myself, I've got to say M&T is probably the most annoying mod to make a compatibility patch with. Beats other full conversions (like ET) by a lot.
