Unfortunately you posted this moments before I released version 2 which fixed/changed a lot of the things you suggested :P
but nevertheless you still pointed out some solid bugs and things I need to change, such as the bomb falling through the floor of the pool and roof skylights being too difficult to break.
It's definitely interesting to see how people think i changed the size of some rooms/areas, but be prepared to have your mind blown!... With the exception of toxic, every other room is exactly the same size as in the original. Like. EXACTLY the same hahaha. It must be a depth perception thing caused by the different textures ;)
But in the recent 2.0 update I did shorten the run from T spawn by about 2 seconds, so technically that area is now smaller haha.
I honestly can't tell you how excited I was when you guys discovered how easy wall bangs are from that railing on roof to rafters/heaven! I wanted to point that out so badly but I wanted to see if anyone would legitimately take the time to strategize the map instead of just complaining that things are different.
You guys did a totally awesome job of actually thinking about the strategy of the map, so I really appreciate it, and it resulted in some great feedback!
I didn't remove the barrels in tunnels or the forklift in A yet, but they seem pretty equally despised, so I think I'm gonna have to bid them farewell :( maybe I can figure out a simple way to honor their memory in the next update...
To be fair to Valve, other than the hand rails and floor rails, I haven't created any props for this map yet.
The reason for that is because my version of XSI mod tool is broken at the moment... Talk about worst timing ever. But after I get that up and running again I will be cranking out some custom props for the map.
Currently the only custom textures are the water and metal trim for the tunnels floor.
But anyways this definitely gave me more to think about!
