What about a stat like the eyelander:The more you kill,more powerful you be?
This knife looks like a highlander
Why not a stat similar ?

A weapon like that was added at one stage but was removed due to it being too overpowered as the spy would move as fast as a medic and would have as much healtth as a soldier, coupled with the deadringer, it was way too op. Nuff said :)

I think something like that would be too overpowered. Although speaking of which, the weapon sure looks good but what special stats could it have? It could be a kunai clone, i suppose...

Kunai clone would be boring, but no stats really make sense except the eyelander ones. But the eyelander knife would probably reduce HP like the normal knife does. It would reward skill with HP and perhaps something like SLIGHTLY increased cloak regen and SLIGHTLY decreased cloak usage. Might be a good weapon.

Think about it, a scaling knife paired with our already scaling revolver? *can run really fest and has a significant crit storage* I don't know if there would be any debuff significant enough for that.

No, because it's broken, there's less of it to buff you.

why not make it a weapon which benefits facestabs, in case a backstab fails. Trust me there are MANY out there who constantly facestab, including me myself

Eyelandering it wouldn't be that good an idea, a Demo either has better options than a melee weapon or has gimped himself in the way of ranged damage to be able to make use of it, a spy is always expected to backstab.

Valve had a team of people test out a knife with stats like that once. Basically all it turned out to be was spies camping outside of the spawn door facestabbing people as they walk out.
