Question for static weapons!
Mostly a question for barbolani here. This is regarding the ZU and anti tank howitzer gun in the vehicle buy menu under military. Is there any way of tranporting these things so that we can use them in the field or are the strictly for base defense? The ZU is obviously on the back of a ural under squad recrutiment by the other gun I wish had a tow option or a similar option to an ammobox to load it into the back of a nicley sized vehicle. Just something to think about! It would be awesome to set the anti tank cannon on a hill for ambushes. The SPG-9 UAZ is great but doesn't match up to the power of the (whatever the name of it is, possibly D-10 lol) anti tank howitzer!

Im in with this. Just today before we quit our session we tested out the ZU at base for funsies and we couldnt figure out anyway to move it. Cant tow with any vehicle we had (wasnt able to try apc nor tanks), could not hook it either with the civilian chopper.

We are able to fold and unfold the AT-cannon... would be sweet to be able to move it somewhere and utilize it to assault enemy outpost or airport. :P

You can air transport the AT gun using helicopter. I havent tried it with the ZU. Have fun

An update- If you run ACE3 mod, you can ace interact the static and load them up into vehicles, transporting them anywhere you want.

HAHHAH... I can see the creativity cogs spinning. Another nugget of gold. If you keep the ammo truck from the ammo missions, you can ace interact for it to rearm the static gun out in the field.
