A letter to those who use this mod
I'm going to start this out right: I'm sorry

I've made promises of this mod having things like a new splash, custom weapons but I've failed to do so, This mod is almost 17 months old and yet hasn't seen any changes for a year and at this point I don't think I CAN change it, Certain files require new things and even the actual method to build the characters models.

None of you deserve a broken very out of date character mod so I'm going to change this

This mod Spartan 115 will remain as it is, as a base line of how my first mod went and I'll be making a new Spartan that is up to date and (Eventually) will have the bells and whistles I promised

I have a few solid goals set for the first release of it

- Better art
I'm going to get down to the bottom of how people make their characters all neat and pretty (It's probitly something REALLY simple I'm missing) so you can play with the new spartan without a ton of pixelation

- Custom items
A sword and a gun, one of these will be released with the new spartan with the other coming later

- Less derpy coding
I intend to have it so YOU have to kill monsters to gain sanity, not a friend anywhere in the world

And after release I intend to properly support the mod including

- Balence changes
This spartan is close to OP, while I know people love OP characters I don't and I intend to keep Spartan balenced

- The other custom item
Self explanitory

- A few unique abilities
Granted I'd have to gate it otherwise we'd get an OP character but potentially heavier hits or not needing tools

And the final thing I want to try is to add a new stat bar one which will mean the new Spartan will lose alot in terms of health but gain much more in lastability, I want to try and add something akin to the Energy shield

All this is my goal for the new spartan, it might take months to fufil this but given I want to learn how to mod more and because I feel I've let you all down It's only right for me to give this a shot

We'll see how it goes

Anymore updates on the new Spartan? Maybe a link to it if it's completed? This is easily my favorite mod, and the only close second is the Xenomorph mod I have, and I'd love to be able to use him in multiplayer again. :D Good luck!

Progress has been really slow at best, life stuff and other projects are slowing it down, I do plan to finish the new one but odds are it'll be a very long time but I'll put a link to it here when I've finished it

being brutally honest I havn't been working on it very much, as I mentioned in September Life stuff is kinda more important then a mod in a game and given I sorta gotta do life stuff there hasn't been much progress

I mean there HAS been some progress art wise but not alot

Also trying to make higher detailed sprites when you have zero artistic talent makes it a pain

But hey I'll share one bit of comparison with the art cause I owe it to people who like this mod
