Simple! Shaders need to be on high or very high, nothing lower!

That's actually wrong. It needs to be "very high", even with high the floor stays black unless it's very high.

Set your shaders on high or very high and restart see if it works, and it shouldnt crash. very stable map as far as i know and had experience with.

thanks, also made me realize I had my texture settings on low the whole time when my computer is perfectly capable of high settings. The game looks even better with high settings, and I thought it looked good before!

i had the same problam but i fixed by putting my graphic/shaders setting to high:steamfacepalm:

I have mine in High and it's not black for me
