I will fix this for sure :) I don't think it is a conflict. I think the quest is just buggy (not sure if it's my side or Bethesda's design of how the quest system works. But either way, the quest should unlock the door, but since it's not for you, I will fix a "problem" I have been debating for a bit :) I will push this in the next update, but what you could try doing is the following:

1) Walk up to the Bedroom door
2) Open the command console by pressing the ~ button
3) With your mouse, click on the Bedroom door (make sure nothing is obstructing the way between you and the door)
4) Type the following in the console command: unlock
5) Hit Enter and then press the ~ to exit the command console and check if the door is unlocked

If not, let me know and I will help you until this gets resolved :)

Yeah there was an old system I was using, but decided to remove it, so now this should work for you :) Also, upon completing the castle's quest now, you will recieve a key to unlock the doors. If you already completed the quest, upon loading your save, the key should be added to your inventory.

Let me know if you get the key and/or if using the console command works for you :)
