In the past i only played western Countrys, Muscovy(eastern) and the Ottomans(Ottoman xD).
I had to Modernize Muscovy and the Turks but their Troops where unchanged, well does not matter, the difference to the western is minimal.

But now I´m playing a game as Byzantium, i restored the Borders of the Justinian Empire by 1450 but i´m worried about the future.

The last new Troops are available at Tech 38. Will there be change to western units or am a stuck with tech 38 troops damned to fight of high level troop ?

Same question for the scandinavian group btw.

oh and btw: Are the Justinian Borders just nice to have or am i able to restore the whole empire after with a later event/decision ?
