I agree with the internal conflict going on there. Being my first map, there are plenty of flaws that absolutely need addressing.
When I first started making this map, it was my intention to focus mainly on survival actually. But for technical (and gameplay) reasons that are too long to explain, I had to make the move to campaign.
Lastly, you may have a new opinion when Version 3 comes to the forefront. It doesn't add any maps to make it feel like a traditional campaign per se, but rather it addresses numerous flaws, adjusts & adds different mechanics, and even includes checkpoints. (Perhaps this will increase the probability of feeling like a campaign?)
At the end of the day, everyone has their likes and dislikes I suppose.
tl;dr - I appreciate the honest review again as it will assist in my future mapping endeavors. When Version 3 comes out, you may have a new opinion.
