First off I just wanted to say thanks to everyone whos been playing, streaming, and making videos about Der Berg! Really happy to see people enjoying the map and even revisiting the original version!! The map will be getting a big update soon, but I want everyone to keep a few things in mind.

I’m one person and this is only the second map I’ve ever made. I’m still learning, especially when it comes to scripting and coding, which is a huge part of making a map. That’s why I reached out to IceGrenade for help. We tried to catch as many bugs as we could before release but of course some were bound to slip through. I originally made this map for myself, so certain features like the CW guns, manglers, panzers, and margwas, are staying. All things I personally enjoy. I’ve been actively working on fixes where I can but like I mentioned, I’m not a coder. I also don’t plan to update the map for every tiny fix I make, especially with the recent holiday and real life responsibilities. And just to clarify, I did not disable mods. Bugs happen and mods were working before.

The good news is that I think I’ve identified what’s causing mods not to load. It seems related to something called a “clientfield” which is used by panzers, margwas, and other features. They put a heavy load on the map, so solving this might take some time. For the guns, I'll buff them a bit so guns have more power and give more of a reason to hit the box.

With all that being said, play the map for what it is without mods until I get them working
