Lima Infection
Kyle's Review of "Lima Infection" - 4/5
A rough Peruvian vacation. 4/5 stars.

Lima Infection is another campaign in the "Survivors go to a foreign country" genre, but this one distinguishes itself with outstanding aesthetics. The quantity of custom assets is jaw dropping — every level is densely detailed with authentic decor from Peru's capital. My Spanish is rusty, but thankfully this mod doesn't require understanding it, so it just adds flavor.

The level design favors large, open spaces to match the real life architecture of Lima. This does make certain parts too easy or too long, but there's usually enough clutter to keep things from feeling empty. There are also some creative events, like traversing a cafeteria full of Witches or fighting NPC soldiers to steal their van.

Sadly, I have lots of little gripes that add up. Supplies and rescue closets are too scarce, and finding where to go is often unintuitive — especially since the Survivors never talk. This mod didn't quite blow me away, but at least it's memorable and fun.
