Discussing the lore like mental asylum patients
Hello everyone, this is your... who cares about me. Spoilers ahead.


I lost my notes AGAIN (thank you steam, really cool). So I'll be very brief here:
- Whitecomplex is used to train people to this apocalypse, study its effects and try to rehabilitate people if possible. There should be 4 keycards in the map, they're necessary to access new zones.

- The final area ends with an open door... which you can't pass through. I suppose it will teleport to Whitecomplex in the future?

- The funny spinning detector will stop moving if we step back, does that mean we're an anomaly? (On a side note, I got stuck in the transition area for the second training ground, is that a bug?)

- There's another cardboard character that doesn't do much other than leaving footprints and staring you.

- a sketch of inno shows she doesn't have genitalia... (do we still use"she/her"?) so, if the corrupted creatures can't reproduce and they thrive off the P I N K S U N, does that mean that they can get extinct if the P I N K S U N disappears for long enough? Perhaps trapping them in deep caves would kill them off? But this is all a theory, A GAME THEORY!

- Inno is revealed to be an insectoid, kind of. (I don't wanna hug her anymore)

- Inno owns a cat! Or two... i dunno, one is small, the other is big and fluffy. Maybe she doesn't have cats, perhaps she apparently possesses a physical body and can morph into things.

I dont think thats "Inno" on the insectoid sketch, more like another similar entity i think
and yes, we are still DEFINITELY calling inno a She, as she HAS been referred to as such, and well from what ive gathered, Inno OWNED a cat, Reven (i think thats its name)
(Also the footprints heavily remind me of Sammy Lawrence from BATIM)

So I got to what I think is the end, where there's a V.O.I.D door. But nothing happens when I get to the black block. Is it supposed to be some sort of map connector? I'm unfamiliar with the lore.

I think it is, usually these maps have triggers that make you start another one of the series. Probably p'nk black is working on an update to connect downcoreidors to voidplaces or whitecomplex.

It would make sense with the title having part 1 in it.

There was also an update to VoidPlaces to add somethings in, but I'm not sure if Nowhere Mall and White Corridors were touched. Maybe things were added there though probably not lore stuff.

It seems the sun, despite not being the actual sun, still provides energy in someway. I think the satellite dishes are acting as solar panels and getting energy to the various White Complex aligned areas there, but also probably the anomalies themselves derive energy from it. It also seems that the anomalies are a more powerful energy source and their unique abilities can be harvested given the DASH being made from one of them. Begs the question of just how much White Complex knows about the VOID since it seems like they're both a large scale operation but also still getting a grasp on what's going on.

Most likely going to connect to the second part of Down Corridors when that eventually comes out. Feels like it'll be a larger facility given the teasers featuring more fantastical looking areas that aren't in the current map.

Do we know of anyway to naturally (in-game) access Downcorridors? With all the Whitecomplex signage everywhere, I assume we can enter somehow through that map.

I believe our Inno is the one who has the cutout present by the security badge. She's scribbled her pink dress over the diagram, doodled her cat, and apologizes for her sharp claws.

Interestingly, approaching this area will trigger the announcer telling us not to trust sun followers and that it will be the worst mistake we can make. Which is kinda meta, since most of us DO trust Inno not to harm us, since she hasn't done much beyond watching over/following us throughout these maps.

Inno definitely owns one cat, the grey one which can be found by the yellow doors of the 1st and 2nd training levels in the mirror door. The white, fluffy cat seems to be another anomaly, since it's mentioned by another person during an interview, and is apparently very distressing.

I get this in the console when I reach the door,"changelevel2 failed: vp_dc_residential_sector not found"

You need to go through White Corridor, accessed in VoidPlaces, then get through the chase sequence in it.

yeah to be dead honest im fine with her not being an antagonist, i personally see her character as more, Lonely to the point of really wanting people to STAY in void mall...i could be wrong but hey, nothing wrong with interpreting a character

In the game files, Reven has the name "vp_dc_they_reven". The word "they" also has that pink eye in the UC static room. Most likely, this bad guy is connected to Pandora.
