Is there a way to make ellipses (from the middle) instead of circles?

Ideally, the mod would just modify the original shapes with constraints (ex.: hold ctrl to make width equal to height, hold shift to draw it from the middle instead of a corner), but I doubt that's doable without rewriting the whole thing. :/
