Seriously thank you. I had the infinite "..." loading bug. Saw this and saw my problem there <3333 thank you!!!

Welcome to easy fixes. This is a place to document the easiest ways to fix problems you might be having with your game. If you've been sent here, the problem is on your end, not the pack's. It's either files or hardware, so let's get to the bottom of it.
ℹ️ Before we begin, here's an important, quick and easy checklist to make sure the problem isn't obvious.
Do you legitmately own all the DLCs? (correct answer: yes)
Are you using the game on Steam? (correct answer: yes)
Do you have your language set to english? (correct answer: yes)
Do you have more than 8gb of ram? (correct answer: yes)
Are you using a pirated copy? (correct answer: no)
Have you modified the modpack? (correct answer: no)
Do you have any stray local mods? Like the one with the folder icon and not the steam icon? (correct answer: no)
Are you sorting your mods with the vanilla sorting menu? NOT Rimpy or Rimsort? (correct answer: yes)
🪟 Windows users: Is your ASLR Bottom up enabled? (correct answer: yes)

📝 How to validate game files (🪟 🍎 🐧 )
Validating your game files is the solution to nearly every issue. Right click your game on Steam, click properties. Click installed files, then "Verify integrity of game files" It seems with the size of this pack, sometimes it'll look like its frozen on 0% but it'll be working in the background. Just wait and it'll be done.

📝 How to increase pagefile size (🪟 )
Go under your System > About > Advanced System Settings
Advanced (tab) > Performance Settings > Advanced (tab) > Virtual Memory (change)
Select custom size and set both Initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB) to the same value. It might already tell you a currently allocated and recommended allocation below to take into consideration. Try setting it to 48,000, and ensure you have enough storage on your harddrive.

📝 How to enable ASLR Bottom up (🪟)
Launch Windows Security
Click App & browser control
Click Exploit Protection settings
Locate "ASLR Bottom up" and enable it
Restart your PC



🚨 FOR ALL: FILE VALIDATION
I can tell you with full confidence that 99% of the stuff we see here gets fixed by validating your files. Try it as step one.
ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files.

🚨 Problem 1: Black Screen
Black screen is caused by file corruption, or ASLR.
ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files, and ensure ASLR is enabled

🚨 Problem 2: Unity popup, then crash
This error is caused by running out of ram.
ℹ️ Solution: Here are some potential solutions, depending on your ram amount.
8gb It's a miracle you are even here. I would not attempt anything further, but apparently its been done.
16gb You probably should increase your pagefile. A guide on how to do this is earlier on this channel. Also, close any ram intensive apps.
32gb You should close ram intensive apps. If it's still occuring, increase your pagefile.
64gb Close ram intensive apps

Problem 3: Game going unresponsive on boot
This is not a problem. This is normal. Just wait.

🚨 Problem 4: Stuck on Loading modlist configurator, Infinite 3 dots (...), or initializing prepatcher
Config corruption. Wait a minute before diagnosing this though, it could really just be loading.

🚨 Problem 5: Blank rectangle menu in the center of the screen
This is file corruption.
ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files.

🚨 Problem 6: Planet wallpaper, no dialogue boxes or anything
This is file corruption, or you're missing a DLC.
ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files, ensure all DLC is enabled.

🚨 Problem 7: Buildings having weird textures, covering things when they're not supposed to (Ice cellar)
This is often caused by the "Toggle BSL" button. Turn it off, should fix it.
ℹ️ Solution: Turn off BSL with the yellow arrow button.

🚨 Problem 8: My scenarios are being weird. Missing items / There are no Animal tech scenarios/There are no Neolithic scenarios/Scenarios moved around
This is file corruption.
ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files.

🚨 Problem 9: There no more techs after Neolithic? / I can advance tech infinitely? / Everything's locked?
You set your world tech level to Neolithic. And yes, that is different then setting your faction's starting tech level. Read up on what this all means in ⁠freq-asked-qs💬 That means you've limited your entire planet to that tech level, including all future research which is probably not what you wanted. The intended pack experience is an unrestricted planet, world tech limits are strictly for themed runs.
ℹ️ Solution: Go to your planet view, click on a tile, click planet, click change world tech level and set it to unrestricted.

🚨 Problem 10: Infinite "Initializing..." on boot
This is most likely configuration file corruption, or an undiagonsed ram leak. However keep in mind, this pack takes a long ass time to boot. Give it like minimum 40 minutes before diagnosing this.

Delete "Config" folder
Relaunch game

🚨 Problem 11: Error while generating a map
I'd assume first and foremost file corruption.

ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files.

🚨 Problem 12: Buildings are white / No color
This is file corruption, or you have modified the pack by adding the mod Better Loading.

ℹ️ Solution: Re-validate your files, remove the mod Better Loading.
