to complete the quest you will need the fire bow and to have completed the 3 challenge areas and collect the item at the end of them. all of these can be done in any order


the well challenge (the tall cylinder area) is pretty straight forward, when activating the challenge you will be set to 500 points and you must fight your way to the top before the water rises up, touching the water fails the challenge for all players!

your actual points will be returned upon completing or failing the challenge

the maze is pretty much just a maze, find your way to the end. if your struggling you can buy the maze revealer at the start

the parkour area is the most tricky of the 3, utilise wall running and boost jumping to beat the course, your goal is the top of the crane to the upper left of the start area.

hint: there are many shortcuts you can take here, think outside the box ;)


the fire bow quest can be started and progressed by any player in co-op, and by the end can be obtained by all players. you will need the regular bow (wrath of the ancients) for all of these steps

these must be done in order

the arrow can be obtained by lighting the fire place to the left of the jump pad that takes you to the parkour area

when taking the jump pad from the middle area in any direction except to spawn, a glowing circle can be seen, you must shoot the center of this while mid use of a jump pad

in co-op, only the most recent player to use any jump pad may take the shot, dont try to do it at the same time


when hit correctly it stays lit up, now you must kill zombies while standing in the circle with the bow

when standing in the circle and shooting the bow you make a magma mark when the shot lands. you can now shoot again while standing on this mark. you must shoot these to a fireplace nearby within 4 shots

the shot will time out after 60 seconds. if failing you may try again instantly

note in v1.0 this step is a little buggy, you may not see the fireplace effect after you hit it, and the circle keeps letting you take the shot, implying the step is not complete. if your shots keep landing directly in front of it and you dont see the fire, try the others until theyre lit or doing the same then try moving to the next step

fireplaces are located at:
maze: at the end of the maze, just inside of it around the corner
parkour: on the back of the wall to the left of the start of it, near the first checkpoint
well: up on the left as you enter, over the staircase above the start of the stairs

once all fireplaces are lit, return to the original fireplace in the centre and you may put your arrow back into the fire to forge it. take it to the fire bow spot in spawn and you can now use it


now that you have the 3 items and the fire bow, return to the middle jump pad and the 3 items can be seen floating here. use a charged shot of the fire bow on them to remove the seal and access the final encounter

good luck, be prepared, you will want a ranged weapon
