1.) How often will you actually get to see a pyro?
2.) Now, imagine how often you see a pyro that at least knows how to airblast?
3.) How many of those pyros will realistically air blast you into the air?
4.) And now how many pyros that blast you in the air would otherwise just troll you?
My answer is: There won't be many pyros, there will be less that know how to (or can) airblast, and there will be even less who would actually bother to airblast you in the air, and there would be even LESS who will do it out of the spirit of teamwork.
That's just what I think.
Well, what if an enemy Soldier or Demo used their sticky or missile to launch you in the air? If you had the Dead Ringer (Or, somehow managed to survie the blast), you turn invisible while in the air without trouble.
Well, again, what are the odds of a sticky or a missile tossing you up into the air. Heck, the Loose Cannon has the ability to do so, but I don't see loads of players flying.
I'm only looking at it as a new way to be mobile around the map; hence why I say that a temporary jump boost and THEN gently floating down is most likely the best option. I mean, the Spy can escape easier, use the weapon more often, and it won't sit at the bottom of the items list.
