Setup Instructions
Twitch Integration comes with a small application that's used to securely communicate with Twitch services. This mod will not work unless you're running the app! In fact, it will fill your XCOM 2 logs with errors and bog the game down.

To run the app, you must install the ASP .NET Hosting Bundle, which can be found here[dotnet.microsoft.com]. Afterwards, follow the steps below.

1. Subscribe to the mod and let it download.
2. Open the mod's download folder on disk. (Right click the mod in Alternative Mod Launcher and select "Show in Explorer" to do this easily.)
3. In the "Twitch Integration Stream App" folder, run "XComStreamApp.exe".
4. Click the "Log in to Twitch" button to log in. (You may want to hide this from your stream, though as far as I know, it shouldn't show anything sensitive.)

Once you're logged in successfully, you can start XCOM 2 with the Twitch Integration mod enabled.

Make sure to open the in-game Mod Options and look them over. The default settings may not be suitable to the type of campaign you want to run.

What if you reinstall the mod after having uninstalled yet keeping ASP.net hosting module?

I think that'd be an easy step skipper but im curious if theres bugs.

@WildCard They're completely separate. As long as you didn't uninstall the ASP.net stuff, you don't need to install it again.

Very helpful for setup, thanks.

If any other integrations for other platforms are done in the future, I hope they can be compatible with each platform to prevent conflicting actions from crashing/overloading the game
How to enable cyrillic work? (if possible)
Looks like app takes normally, problem is on the chat ingame

Unfortunately I was unable to get the mod working with any non-Latin characters. XCOM's engine uses the now-rare UTF-16 encoding, and despite all my efforts, I couldn't get Twitch's UTF-8 data to load in properly.

So I tried cliocking the streamapp exe and it said I had to download .NET so I did, and ran the installer but it still says I need to download it? It won't register that it's downloaded...any help?
