Settings bugs
Firstly try to create a fresh save with 2 mods enabled: UI lib and RC2
If the bug persists, then read further, otherwise - load your old save properly, with 'override galaxy mods' checkbox enabled

How to determine if something is wrong with the mod settings (the menu is located in the top right corner)
  1. Enable console in the game settings (settings -> controls -> key bindings -> Show console)
  2. Load your save
  3. Read what console says about UI lib config loading
  4. Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\moddata
    For windows OS you can type %appdata% in the windows' search bar to open this folder
  5. Check if there is "UI lib" folder in the 'moddata'. Open it
  6. Check if there is "r3473880618" folder. Open it
  7. Check if there is "user_config.lua". Open it with any text editor
  8. There should be several lines, like 'small_portrait true'
If folders or "user_config.lua" are missing - create them by yourself. Something prevents the game to create them
Default settings that should be in the file
small_portrait true portrait_frame_1 true

The console says that some mods ar not allowed on the server but iam in singleplayer
and that RealCaptains 2 UI libs needs but i have them all downloaded
annd i have nno folders like in the discription and i created them as instruckted but

Something is wrong with your game. Can you create a fresh galaxy with UI lib and RC2 enabled?

Ok in a new Game the Portraits ar there seems the savegame has a problem. Thank you for your pation and your help :-)
