Customizable KI weapon ideas
post some ideas you have for the weapon here

Current Colors: white, red, blue, green, yellow, purple.
Proj types: Normal, explosive, bounce, phase, home, multi.
extras: Life steal, ki theif, coin boost, defense up.

is this suggesting Ki weapons or are you adding a weapon that the player can customize?

Normal => always have.
Blast => skeletron,
Homing => plantera,
Multi => any mech boss,
Bounce => evil world boss,
Phase => queen slime,

Other ai types
life steal => golem.
ki thief => skeletron,
coin boost => pirates,
Defense boost => any mech boss,
I got some ideas:

Make it so it's possible we can craft different customizable ki attack:

Ki Blast Type (The one we currently have)
Ki Wave Type (Looks like a Kamehameha/ Masenko/ Final Flash kind of attack.)
Ki Disc Type (Looks like Desctructo Disc kind of attack.)
Giant Sphere Type (Looks like Big Bang Attack/ Spirit Bomb kind of attack.)

Such kind of additions, where there're a whole bunch of.
You could even swap the "phase" effect gained from Queen Slime, and change it into its own archetype that looks like a Special Beam Cannon when shot.

Each type would have its own way of firing, from a simple ki blast as we have now where a click will fire the attack, to customizable weapon types like a Massive Sphere Type that requires AT LEAST 5 charge levels of time before you can fire it effectively.



Another little note, the sheer amount of healing one can get from making a life steal + super firing rate + velocity based attack is very broken in terms of gameplay, you basically become immortal as long as you have ki and are hitting something.
Take a look at the Dragon Block C custom ki attacks system, it's where I got the ideas from to make everything into custom crafted versions of the moves you can then customize further with your User Interface.


Also another little note, you can somehow bind the ki settings to tools like a pickaxe or a hammer, but it doesn't apply the damage or color as it would do when you apply them to the actual customizable ki attack you can craft using Calm Ki Crystals.
Forgot to mention, the latter note, it breaks the tools functionality, I.E. a pickaxe won't break blocks and hammers won't break walls if you apply the ki effects to your currently highlighted tool in your hotbar.

i'll add some of your ideas too, i like the Giant Sphere Type idea alot
Yeah we were confused about why our tools produced ki attacks lol.

And yeah I'd love to see the custom ki attacks become more customizable, to type of attacks and modifiers on attacks, like, maybe it'd be cool to have "charged" as a special type you can add to ANY attack, that either makes a non-charged attack chargeable, or add more charge timers to an already chargeable attack or something like that.
Would it be possible to add tooltips for the Customizable Ki Blast's UI. Having more specific information when leveling up stats and explanations for the Blast Types would be GREATLY appreciated.
