Do you have any other mods that change generation?

I wasn't able to produce any issues with creating a world while that mod was enabled. Though, when I went to create a small world, one particular step took a bit longer than expected. If this was a 1 time issue, then try again or try waiting a bit longer.
When it comes to world generation, all of the liquids are changed at the very end, after all base game steps.
Other than that, the only step when generating or loading that this mod could possibly cause the game to get stuck is the "Settling Liquids" step.
Maybe another mod adds a step after the extra liquids are placed and it's messing it up
