Yeah I was wondering what exactly this thing is. The mag well makes it look like a c96 but the slide does not make any sense, nor does it resemble a c96.

I know the pistols do not actually eject shells, but they at least have ejection ports and slides and such. This thing does not seem to have any.

I do not believe there is any "real-life" gun version of this skin, alot of TF2 items don't have to do with a real life item.

Personally, it looks like a very simple Gauss pistol or coilgun. Granted, a real coilgun would be more likely to use a very thin wire and wrap it around the barrel several more times, but this is TF2, where you can reflect "focused waves" using pressurized air.

Its a cartoony gauss pistol, clear and simple, Deltablood's got it.

its a coil gun

Its a coil gun mixed with the c96 "broomstick" mauser pistol, with minor custom mechanic work to allow it to load bullets or energy charges from the handle, and to convert the original clip into a battery compartment to power the device.

To me, it reminds me too much of Han Solo's DL-44 Blaster Pistol from Star Wars.
