Hello, all floating islands have a "road" , is there any way to get rid of it?

At the Top of the Lighthouse there's the Firebowl which stands out floating. Also, the whole Building likes to dissapear when its been scaled and set on Foundations. (I wanted to place it on top of a self build Tower as a fancy Special but it just poofed ~ )
