Mod Compat Thread
A thread of mod compatibility. I saw Lost and Forgotten doing this, so I wanted to write a list of mods that are explicitly compatible / Incompatible with Tainted Cain Rework.

Feel free to document your own findings if they are not on the list below.

Fully Compatible (includes at least some item recipes):
  • D!Edith
  • Battle Fantasy

Compatible (working, but no special support or recipes):
  • External Item Descriptions (no special compatibility)
  • Fiend Folio Reheated* (pills don't show up in the inventory)
  • Revelations (special compatibility, added Sand Blocks and fixed UI issues)
  • Godmode Achieved

Godmode Achieved isn't compatible (Blackscreen at the start of the run)

Have you tested that this doesn't happens without Tainted Cain Rework? I have a hard time figuring out why it would cause a black screen without it being on their end with shaders.

Yep I tested it without tainted cain rework, it works perfectly fine without it, I even turned off all my other mods and only have those two installed and the blackscreen still appears. It even appears even when I'm not playing tainted cain as well.

This is interesting, I'm not sure what would be causing it but it's most definitely not on my end, as I've taken extra precautions to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid with screenspace shaders.

I would let them know instead, as I believe the issue is on their end.

It's important to note Godmode Achieved is a mod that has a lot of compatibility issues with other mods due to its very proprietary nature. I might investigate this issue when I come back home, but I'm not entirely all too interested in it, sorry :(

Heya. How do I get Fiend Folio devs to add support/recipes for this mod? Is that on their end?
