Is it possible to have the backgrounds images cycle every X seconds with a somewhat-slow fade between each image?

Well it's not related to mod functionality
I'd like to keep it simple as possible

Is there anyway we could get them to load in sets, say each time you load the game it randomizes a set, so it would load Logo_1 and BG_1 together... then on the next restart it would load Logo_7 and BG_7 together? Anyway great stuff you have done here! Seriously thank you :)
