I want to remind you that the mod is still in alpha and, on top of that, on an unstable branch of the game. These things will happen, even if I try my best to avoid it.
During the last two months, I have learned a lot about how to handle this in a good way e.g. by adding version headers to all data saved, so it's easier to handle different version separately. However, at the end of the day, I don't control what Indie Stone changes and have to adapt the best I can. It is because of this I can't leave any guarantees that there will not be any data loss.
