How to get rid of bitten NPC companions?
My NPC companion happened to get bitten because I messed up and left them on retreat mode :(. How do I get rid of them before they turn, or should I just kill them?

You can kill them or just remove them from your group manually. If you open the NPC Overview (right-click their name in the overlay to the right and select "Settings"), you have a button next to them that says "Remove". This button will force them out of the group.
